-Volunteers to sort out medicine at Med-Assist pharmacy in Charlotte 2020:

As members of a non- profit organization, we also recognize the importance of giving our volunteer time locally to support a good cause and at the same time create an opportunity for C2shareOTC youth volunteers to meet and work together on a community project that benefits the local poor individuals in need of helping hand. On Sat morning of 3/7/2020, a team of 14 of C2share members and volunteers signed up and came to work at MedAssist pharmacy warehouse in Charlotte, where we help to sort “over the counter medications” given by different business companies. MedAssist is a non- profit pharmacy that provides access of OTC and prescription medications to the uninsured and underinsured North Carolina residents.

Afterwards, one of our youth volunteers expressed the joy of her group participation and said “being able to give back to those in need helps her achieve a greater sense of personal satisfaction and growth”
