After our first medical mission trip, we realized quickly that a lot of children tag along with their parents for this activity , maybe they have nothing else to do or parent has no one to look after them? Anyway, some members of our group suggested to bring toys and candies along so we can keep these children occupied while their parents can have sufficient time for a thorough check up with our medical team. Needless to say, the toys & candies for kids became very popular. Sometimes the large quantity of toys and candies donated by our members and their local business donors are still not enough to go around. The children everywhere we visited are thrilled to receive candies and nice toys from the USA. Some adult patients even ask for a piece of candy simply because they have never seen it before
